Location: Columbia
Role:
Plasma donation center Associate responsible for donor registration, screening, and safety during plasma pheresis. Objectives include verifying donor eligibility via health history, vital signs, fingerstick testing, and ensuring compliance with SOPs. Capable of educating donors on donation processes and maintaining accurate electronic records. Responsibilities encompass managing donor flow, responding to inquiries, alerting staff to reactions, and maintaining a safe, clean environment.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent;
- at least 3 months experience in clerical, customer service, or healthcare-related roles;
- basic math skills;
- manual dexterity;
- ability to work in a fast-paced, potentially hazardous environment and wear PPE.
- Preferred skills include bilingual communication and cross-training in other center functions.
Experience in blood/plasma donation settings, familiarity with health safety protocols, and ability to handle blood borne pathogens.
Work setup involves on-site center work with extended hours and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Travel not specified.
