Varied shifts with weekend availability.
High school graduate or equivalent. Must have current S.C. Nurse Aid Certification OR passed fundamentals in RN/LPN school OR completed Surg Tech OR EMT course OR completed 2 year Health Science Technology Program, or 6 months experience as a PCT certified.
Under supervision of licensed personnel, the Emergency Care Center Technician will perform a variety of functions in support and care of patients requiring urgent or emergency care in the emergency medical setting.
Under the delegation of a Registered Nurse/Providers the ECC Technician performs specific assigned duties in providing patient care in accordance with established SRH, ECC and Nursing Services Policy/Procedure/Protocols and Standards of Care; assists in maintaining supplies and repairs and safely operating work related equipment.
Communicates findings as indicated to appropriate person(s). Serves as a resource person for other SRH team members to resolve work related/patient care issues.
Performs any other job-related duties as requested by Department Manager, ECC Supervisor, Charge/Lead Nurse or Departmental Director
