We are seeking an experienced Pathology Assistant for temporary coverage in Murrells Inlet, SC
. The position will primarily provide pathology services at the main location, with potential coverage at additional sites as needed.

The Pathology Assistant will be responsible for completing the assigned daily caseload within the scheduled shift. Overtime may apply when additional time is required to complete the day's workload.

• Perform pathology assistant duties within the laboratory
• Perform specimen grossing and related pathology procedures
• Complete the assigned daily caseload
• Ensure all assigned work is completed before the end of the scheduled shift when possible
• Maintain accurate specimen and clinical documentation
• Follow laboratory safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Provide coverage at additional locations if required and credentialed

• 1 hour unpaid lunch
• No scheduled call
• Daily caseload must be completed before the end of the shift
• Overtime may apply when necessary to complete the assigned workload

• Pathology Assistant experience required
• Grossing experience required
• ASCP certification required
