American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of cardiac cath lab experience for an acute care hospital setting.

• Acute care hospital with 304 staffed beds
• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab
• 4-5 labs run per day with 2-3 CVTs per lab and 20-25 cases per day
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, though hours may extend until procedures are complete
• Call requirements include one weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun) per 7 weeks plus a weekly call shift and evening shift
• No floating between service lines or to sister facilities
• Uses EPIC EMR
• Uses PACS, Fuji Vidistar, and MAC Lab equipment

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• RCIS certification (CCI) or ARRT required, registered or in process
• South Carolina license required if applicable
• Proficient in coronary diagnostic/intervention scrub and monitor
• Community hospital experience required
• Experience with cardiac stent placement, left and right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, and rotablator atherectomy
• Experience with vascular studies, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and IVC filter placement
• Impella insertion and embolization experience preferred
• Driver's license and SSN required for consideration

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures including stent placement, catheterizations, PCI, and PTCA
• Radiation badge must be provided by candidate, as the facility does not supply badges to travelers
• Hospital-issued scrubs provided for cath lab staff
• Block scheduling may be accommodated with manager approval based on unit needs
• First-time travelers accepted depending on position needs
• Previous perm or PRN staff must be separated from the facility for 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis at a reduced rate; a 60-mile radius rule applies for standard rate eligibility
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for consideration
• During hurricane season (June through November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
