* *** A Brief Overview
** The Radiology Transport is consistently thorough to verify patient identification, verify all transport information on the patient's order, transport patients in a timely manner as requested, utilizes all safety equipment to secure the patient, and explain the transport process to the patient and/or family member to facilitate cooperation and alleviate patient and/or family anxiety. The Radiology Transport Aide consistently demonstrates competency in affective communication and proper body mechanics.
** What you will do
*** Performs medical transport for patients to and from the Radiology Department.
* Applies proper body mechanics while lifting, pulling, and pushing patients and equipment during patient transfer and transport.
* Performs accurate documentation of patient medical records.
* Provides excellent patient care.
* Cover all sites as necessary.
** Education Qualifications
*** High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred
** Experience Qualifications
*** Previous experience with patient care in a hospital setting.
*
* Skills and Abilities

*** Excellent communication skills
* Demonstrates excellent customer service.
** Licenses and Certifications
*** Basic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire. Recertification every two years is Required
