Role Description

This is a flexible full or part time on-site role as a Hospitality Worker at Aramark Collegiate Hospitality, located in Columbia, SC at the prestigious University of South Carolina. Responsibilities include preparing, serving, and replenishing food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in dining areas, and delivering excellent customer service. Additional duties involve handling transactions, stocking supplies, and assisting with food safety practices to ensure a positive dining experience for all students, staff, and visitors.

Collaboration with team members is a key component of this role.

Qualifications
  • Customer service skills, including maintaining a friendly and welcoming demeanor and addressing guest needs professionally
  • Experience with food preparation, handling, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Team collaboration and communication skills to ensure seamless operations
  • Basic proficiency in handling transactions and operating point-of-sale systems
  • Time management and multitasking abilities to perform tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings
  • Prior experience in food service or hospitality is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
