Kiawah Island Club is seeking a male Men's Locker Room Attendant to be an ambassador for our mission: TO BE THE FINEST PRIVATE CLUB IN THE WORLD.
A Men's Locker Room Attendant at Kiawah Island Club will excel at applying empathy to every person so they may create and maintain our members’ loyalty, while ranking their teammate’s needs even higher.
Well-appointed, spacious, and always luxurious, the Men's Locker Rooms at the River Course and Cassique are popular hangouts for Club Members and their guests. These luxurious facilities require attentive staff with outstanding customer service skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to be proactive and see what needs to be done.
Responsibilities- Keep the Men's Locker Room and fitness center clean and well organized.
- Assist Members with shoe care, supplying towels, and restocking and organizing supplies.
- Handle food and beverage responsibilities including mixing and serving beverages, taking food orders, entering orders into the POS system, serving food, and ensuring Members are satisfied.
- Serve Members during morning, afternoon, and early‑evening service periods.
- Arrive at work on time for scheduled shifts in uniform and excited to provide hospitality.
- Maintain an understanding of the proper steps of service required.
- Have a base knowledge and understanding of classic cookery, wine, beer, and cocktails.
- Communicate and listen effectively to deliver accurate messaging to both guests and teammates.
- Derive pleasure from providing hospitality.
- Takes pride in working with a first‑class team.
- Must be a positive, outgoing personality with a professional image.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs and hold a valid driver’s license.
- Previous customer service and food & beverage experience preferred but not required.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for alcohol service.
