Fairfield Inn & Suites Spartanburg Downtown is seeking a reliable, professional, and guest-focused Breakfast Attendant to join our Hospitality Team. The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing and maintaining the breakfast buffet, ensuring food items remain well-stocked, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment for hotel guests.

Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, the Breakfast Attendant will utilize their experience in food preparation, kitchen operations, cleaning, and customer service to ensure the breakfast service operates efficiently and meets the hotel's hospitality standards.

Weekday

Shifts:

5:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Weekend Availability:
Required. This position is primarily focused on weekend coverage, with occasional weekday shifts available based on operational needs.

Assemble and prepare the breakfast buffet before meal service and disassemble it upon completion.

Ensure the breakfast buffet remains adequately stocked, organized, and presentable throughout service.

Prepare and present breakfast items in accordance with established hotel standards and food safety procedures.

Provide courteous, professional, and attentive customer service to hotel guests.

Clear cutlery, crockery, dishes, and other tableware from guest tables in a timely manner.

Clean and sanitize tables, countertops, and other dining surfaces following each meal service.

Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary dining area.

Remove trash during and at the conclusion of each shift.

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient breakfast service environment.

Process POS transactions, when applicable, and ensure accurate and professional guest interactions.

Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Assistant General Manager.

Previous experience in hospitality, food service, kitchen operations, or customer service preferred.

Knowledge of food preparation, dining service, and cleaning procedures.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.

Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Commitment to cleanliness, organization, and food safety.

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine cleaning, stocking, and service duties.

Reliable attendance, punctuality, and professional conduct.

Weekend availability is required.

Flexibility to work occasional weekday shifts as needed.
