Job Title: Spanish Bilingual HR Assistant
Location: ZF Transmissions - Gray Court, SC
Employment Type: Contract (through HTI - Human Technologies, Inc.)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM (may require additional hours)
HTI is seeking a proactive and approachable Spanish Bilingual HR Assistant to support day-to-day HR operations at ZF Transmissions in Gray Court, SC
. This is a contract position offering hands-on HR experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on employee engagement and bilingual support.
- Provide bilingual (Spanish-English) onboarding support for new hires, ensuring clear communication of policies, procedures, and company expectations
- Assist with HR Generalist duties
, including supporting employee relations issues and conflict resolution - Serve as a visible and accessible presence on the production floor to foster strong employee relations and trust
- Help translate HR documents and interpret conversations as needed
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and assist in planning HR-related events
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to employee onboarding, performance, and disciplinary actions
- Leverage MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for reporting and presentations
- Utilize or support data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI (a plus, not required)
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) is required
- Strongly prefer 1+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills — must be approachable and professional with employees at all levels
- Comfortable working in both office and shop floor environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); familiarity with Linked In and Power BI a plus
- High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive employee matters
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
