  • Coordinating the monthly new hire enrollment process and providing reports and support to Benefit Coordinators.
  • Timely and accurate processing and auditing of vendor invoices and retroactive adjustments.
  • Responding to disability eligibility requests from vendor.
  • Administering the EAP Substance Abuse Program along with local HR.
  • Processing QMCSOs issued by state government agencies in a timely manner.
  • Processing and distribution of scheduled department reporting and monthly plan analysis.
  • Collection of Benefit payments for employees on Leave of Absence.
  • Analyzing weekly data feeds and error reports between HRIS system and Ben Admin.
  • Troubleshooting issues and resolving errors with Benefit Coordinators, payroll and benefit vendors to optimize data integrity.
  • Staying abreast of compliance and regulatory changes / updates that may impact company programs and procedures.
  • Providing customer service for local HR representatives and employees and assistance with claim/issue resolution.
  • Protection of the privacy and confidentiality of the employees and their family’s health at all times.
  • Assists Benefits Supervisor with projects and other department initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree or HR/Benefits certification preferred
  • 3+ years experience in Benefits administration or 5+ years in Human Resources
  • Knowledge in ERISA, PPACA, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements
  • Acute attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills and ability to communicate with, support, and maintain relationships with employees of all levels.
  • Interpersonal skills with experience handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with Microsoft Suite
  • Experience with HRIS/Payroll and Benefit Administration
