This position is located at the DBHDD, Central Office, 400 Otarre Parkway Cayce, SC 29033.

As the Human Resources Consultant II (BHDD Clinical Recruiter), you will serve as the Clinical Recruiter for the agency. This position is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract and hire highly qualified clinical and healthcare professionals for the agency. The position is responsible for building a sustainable clinical talent pipeline, reducing time-to-fill for critical vacancies, and supporting workforce strategies for difficult-to-recruit healthcare positions.

Responsibilities

for the Human Resources Consultant II (BHDD Clinical Recruiter)
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies for clinical and healthcare positions across the agency. Partner with hiring managers and clinical leadership to understand workforce needs, position requirements, staffing challenges, and hard-to-fill classifications. Recommend innovative recruitment strategies to address clinical workforce shortages.
  • Develop recruitment plans for critical, high-volume, and geographically challenging positions and establishes talent pipelines for recurring and anticipated clinical vacancies. Monitor healthcare labor-market trends, compensation trends, candidate availability, and recruitment challenges.
  • Develop recruitment campaigns, materials, presentations, outreach communications and content designed to attract clinical talent. Identify opportunities to strengthen the agency’s collaboration within healthcare professional communities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with medical schools, nursing schools, public health programs, residency programs, and other educational institutions. Develop internships, residencies, fellowshipa, and early-career recruitment pipelines. Develop partnerships that support long-term clinical workforce development.
  • Manage assigned clinical requisitions from intake through candidate selection and offer acceptance. Ensure timely movement of candidates through the recruitment process. Monitor recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, source of hire, applicant volume, offer acceptance, vacancy rates, and pipeline activity.
Additional Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree and relevant human resources experience. A master’s degree in human resources management may substitute for the required experience.
  • A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or a related field and five years of leadership experience in talent acquisition.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and related nursing experience.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and progressively responsible experience in healthcare recruitment, talent acquisition, human resources, staffing, or a related field.
  • Experience recruiting physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, behavioral health professionals, or other licensed healthcare professionals.
  • Experience recruiting for a hospital, health system, public health organization, or behavioral health organization.
  • Experience recruiting for hard-to-fill and high-volume clinical positions.
  • Knowledge of healthcare professional licensure and credentialing requirements.
