South Carolina DDSN is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator for an onsite role in York County, SC. In this position, you will support core HR operations, helping keep recruiting, onboarding, evaluations, leave administration, and payroll-related compliance running smoothly for adjunct and temporary hiring.
Working as part of the HR function, you will also prepare documentation and reporting for HR leadership, while coordinating with internal partners such as supervisors and Benefits to ensure data accuracy and adherence to applicable timelines and federal requirements.
Key responsibilities- Post vacancies, maintain candidate pools, and monitor break-in-service compliance. Facilitate onboarding and coordinate background checks for adjunct and temporary hires.
- Set up evaluation cycles, track completion rates, send reminders, and update position descriptions in the system. Provide technical assistance to supervisors and employees and escal ... programmatic questions to the HR Consultant.
- Process non-complex leave transactions, including compensatory time balances, annual leave donations, routine leave adjustments, and general leave entry. Coordinate with Benefits to ensure accurate processing of leave transfers into and out of the College, as well as separation payouts. Maintain clear documentation of leave activity to support compliance.
- Monitor submission and approval of non-exempt employee timesheets in accordance with federal law and payroll deadlines. Remind supervisors and employees, resolve discrepancies, and escal ... compliance concerns to the HR Director as needed.
- Coordinate and aggregate accurate records for adjunct and temporary hires, performance evaluations, leave entries, and timesheet compliance. Prepare reports for HR leadership.
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience working in a Human Resources office
- Prior professional human resources office experience is strongly preferred

Location: York County, SC (onsite)
Salary: USD 45,300 - 52,500 per year
