While many roles at Coinbase are remote-first, we are not remote-only. In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company‑wide offsites are held multiple times annually to foster collaboration, connection, and alignment. Attendance is expected and fully supported.

• Lead a portfolio of strategic HR tech initiatives—across internal tools, third‑party solutions, AI capabilities, and integrations with platforms like Slack and Google Workspace
• Evaluate and implement new technologies: whether building in‑house or selecting and integrating external tools
• Own the full product lifecycle—from vision and prioritization through launch, adoption, and iteration
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design solutions that deliver both business outcomes and outstanding user experiences
• Influence vendors and internal stakeholders to align on priorities, shape roadmaps, and accelerate delivery
• Apply emerging AI capabilities to modernize and simplify workflows across the HR ecosystem
• Run Agile ceremonies, manage project timelines, and track progress toward clearly defined outcomes
• Define metrics to measure success and guide continuous improvement across the HR Tech stack

• 8+ years of experience leading complex, cross‑functional technology initiatives with measurable impact
• A strong track record of making buy vs. build decisions and driving both to successful outcomes
• Experience working across multiple HR domains and integrating tools into productivity platforms like Slack or Google Workspace
• Demonstrated ability to drive AI‑forward initiatives, from exploration to implementation
• Confidence influencing senior leadership, vendors, and cross‑functional teams to align around high‑impact solutions
• Hands‑on experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence
• Familiarity with technologies like AI/ML, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
• A strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and passion for applying technology to improve how people work

Pay Transparency Notice:
Depending on your work location, the target annual base salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include bonus eligibility + equity eligibility + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).

Base salary range shown. Total compensation also includes equity and bonus eligibility and benefits:

$176,035—$207,100 USD
