Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Word Press Web Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of modern web design principles, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating visually stunning and user-friendly websites. As a Word Press Web Designer, you will work closely with our creative and technical teams to deliver outstanding websites that meet and exceed our clients’ expectations.
Responsibilitiesand Duties
Create aesthetically pleasing and functional websites that are in line with client brand guidelines and project objectives.
Design and implement custom Word Press themes from scratch, ensuring they are responsive, optimized for performance, and aligned with the latest design trends.
Develop and structure page layouts that enhance user experience, ensure ease of navigation, and drive engagement.
Work closely with project managers, developers, and digital marketers to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
Continuously research and implement the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Ensure that all websites are fast, scalable, and optimized for SEO and mobile viewing.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements, present design concepts, and iterate based on feedback.
Rigorously test websites to identify and fix any issues related to design, functionality, and user experience before launch.
Efficiently handle multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in web design, specifically with Word Press.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering high-quality, responsive websites.
Extensive knowledge of Word Press, including theme development, plugin integration, and customization.
Ability to translate client requirements into visually stunning and user-friendly designs.
Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or similar design tools.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the design and development process.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.
This position is offered on a remote basis. However, depending on the cities where most of our hires are located, we will consider establishing offices to support our growing team.
Working HoursTypically work from 8 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility as needed to accommodate project deadlines.
Reporting StructureThis role reports directly to the Lead Web Designer and works closely with the Creative Director and Development Team.
