Business Analyst Project Lead

We are recruiting for a Technical Business Analyst – Project Lead to support a major modernization initiative for a confidential public‑sector organization. This is a full‑time, onsite role with impactful work supporting statewide HR, Finance, and administrative systems.

You’ll be joining a mission‑driven team focused on improving critical systems that directly support statewide operations. Ideal candidates are self‑motivated, collaborative, and passionate about process improvement
. You’ll work across HR, IT, and Finance teams and play a key role in modernizing large‑scale enterprise environments

As the Technical Business Analyst – Project Lead, you will:

• Analyze and improve HR and administrative system processes
• Support and enhance SAP‑based systems (SAP ECC, Success Factors)
• Lead testing efforts: unit, integration, UAT
• Create documentation, SOPs, and user training materials
• Develop reports and dashboards (Excel, Power BI)
• Coordinate cross‑functional projects and manage timelines
• Ensure data integrity, compliance, and security best practices
• Support system upgrades, patches, and modernization efforts
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and monitor project progress

• 5+ yrs experience improving and documenting business/system processes
• 5+ yrs experience with SAP Success Factors or similar HRIS platforms
• 3+ yrs experience with HR/Payroll processes and compliance (HIPAA, FLSA, etc.)
• 5+ yrs experience creating user guides and technical documentation
• 3+ yrs experience with reporting and dashboards (SAP, Power BI)
• Strong proficiency with MS Office, SharePoint, Teams
• Experience with NIST security standards
• Experience with IT implementation projects
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or 10+ years equivalent experience

• Public sector experience: Preferred
