Server System Analyst

Teksystems has a client that needs to add a Server Analyst to their existing team. The role is slated as an ongoing contract.

The Server Systems Analyst supports and maintains enterprise server environments with a focus on Microsoft IIS, security protocols, automation, and application hosting. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively across infrastructure, security, and application development teams. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outside normal business hours when needed and can operate effectively in a fast‑paced, highly regulated environment.

• Multiple years of relevant professional experience in infrastructure, server administration, or a directly related IT field.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across server environments, IIS, .NET‑based applications, and scripting.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft IIS, Windows Server, and server patching processes.
• Proficiency with Power Shell scripting for automation.
• Basic understanding of MS SQL Server, queries, and stored procedures.
• Familiarity with Dev Ops concepts and application lifecycle workflows.
• Working knowledge of F5 load balancing and SCOM monitoring tools.
• Exposure to AI technologies or automation platforms is a plus.

This is a Contract position based out of Columbia, SC.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
