Work Arrangement: Remote (Candidate must be a South Carolina resident capable of commuting to the Columbia office for projects or regular monthly/quarterly intervals).

Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Consultant-level Business Analyst and Technical Writer, you will be responsible for quality control, deliverable assurance, and documenting the progress of state-wide IT initiatives. Your daily duties will include:
- Documentation & Policy: Create, manage, and maintain policies, process flows, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and procedural guidelines.
- Program Support: Monitor and support deadlines, milestones, and activities across multiple assessment programs.
- Reporting: Develop and deliver professional technical program updates and identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for operational processes.
- Communication: Coordinate with IT and business leadership to communicate program strategy, direction, and changes.
- Risk Management: Apply change, risk, and resource management principles to ensure program success.
- Quality Control: Review and edit documentation submitted by staff and vendors to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Technical Writing: Exceptional skills in drafting technical documentation and SOPs.
- Visual Documentation: Ability to create clear process flows and diagrams using MS Visio or PowerPoint.
- Project Leadership: Experience tracking milestones and recommending adjustments to Project Managers.
- Software Proficiency: Extensive expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Compliance: Previous experience supporting regulatory compliance projects is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree OR an Associate's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Writing.
- Strong schedule management and planning skills.
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple reporting requirements.
