  Role is 100% remote. Resource will be required to be onsite Day 1 and 2 of the assignment to receive equipment, system access, , badges and training. Then they will be required to travel onsite as required, approximately once per quarter for a minimum of 4 days, possibly the full week per visit. Travel and lodging will be at the expense of the resource or vendor.

  No SC residency allowed. Open to nationwide candidates who are comfortable working EST time zone hours.

SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
The Child Support Services Applications Team is part of the Department of Social Services (DSS) and is responsible for developing the Child Support Services Division (CSSD) including PACSS (Palmetto Automated Child Support System), SDNH (State Directory of New Hires) and the Client Portal application.

• Work closely with the State Functional Manager and Business Analysts to identify areas for improvement within PACSS and deliver practical, actionable recommendations.
• Analyze existing workflows to uncover inefficiencies and pain points.
• Design optimized workflows for complex processes in alignment with South Carolina business requirements.
• Propose enhanced functionality for complex financial activities within PACSS.
• Design self-guiding workflows, including guided navigation, tooltips, and contextual assistance, for critical areas such as order entry and financial adjustments.
• Design user-friendly features such as step-by-step wizards, contextual help, and automated guidance to improve usability and reduce training needs.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews as needed to gain a comprehensive understanding of South Carolina business processes.
• Collaborate with other Business Analysts to develop comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and provide general assistance during testing activities.
• Participate in regular functional meetings focused on user-reported issues, enhancements, and bug triage to review progress, discuss solutions, and align on priorities.
