We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support a large-scale, enterprise network environment in a highly dynamic and mission-critical setting. This is a hands-on consulting role within a Network Operations Center supporting complex infrastructure and security initiatives.
Location & Work Setup- Onsite role based in the Southeast U.S.
- Must be willing to relocate within commuting distance prior to start
- Standard work week with potential after-hours/weekend support for outages
- Act as a technical lead and escalation point for network operations
- Work in a fast-paced, multi-team environment with minimal supervision
- Contribute to network reliability, security, and performance optimization
- Configure, install, maintain, and upgrade network infrastructure
- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues
- Troubleshoot complex network and connectivity problems
- Support firewall, routing, switching, and VPN environments
- Maintain network documentation and diagrams
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance
- Provide knowledge transfer and guidance to team members
Support voice-integrated and multi-vendor network environments
Required Qualifications- 10+ years of experience with Cisco firewalls, routers, switches, VPN, and administration
- 5+ years of experience with Palo Alto firewalls
- 2+ years of experience with Palo Alto XDR
- Strong experience in network configuration, troubleshooting, and support
- Extensive experience with network monitoring and tracing tools
- Deep understanding of core network architecture
- Advanced expertise in routing and switching
- Experience with wireless networks and hybrid cloud infrastructure
