Candidate will work 100% on-site in Cayce, SC - near Columbia, SC. Candidates must currently reside in the Eastern Time Zone and be willing to relocate prior to their start date at their own expense.
Position SummaryOur direct client has an opening for a .NET Developer with strong Angular experience (#10670). This 12+ month position is on-site in Cayce, SC (near Columbia, SC) and will be performed during Eastern Standard Time business hours.
Required Skills- 3+ years of experience developing modern web applications using Prime
NG, Type Script, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS - 3+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services using ASP.NET Core
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server including database design, data modeling, stored procedures, performance‑optimized queries, and SQL troubleshooting
- 3+ years of experience with Dev Ops practices
- 5+ years of experience with manual AND automated system testing throughout SDLC
- 3+ years of experience creating technical documentation
- Familiarity with data privacy, security standards, and regulatory compliance relevant to state and federal systems (e.g., HIPAA)
- Experience with industry‑standard information security practices such as NIST, HIPAA, or CJIS.
- Experience with IT implementation projects.
- Experience with Power BI or supporting data pipelines for reporting and analytics.
- Familiarity with infrastructure or cloud technologies such as Azure
- Experience with SharePoint or collaborative content‑management platforms.
The System Software Programmer plays a critical role in developing, modernizing, and supporting the Human Resources and administrative systems. This position is primarily responsible for building and maintaining applications using the Angular framework, supporting backend integrations, and implementing Dev Ops practices to ensure secure, efficient, and reliable delivery of software across the agency’s technology platforms.
The programmer collaborates closely with HR, IT, Finance, and infrastructure teams to translate technical requirements into scalable system solutions. Responsibilities include designing and developing application components, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, conducting code reviews, performing system testing, and ensuring documentation is up to date. The role also supports system upgrades, contributes to modernization of legacy applications, and ensures all solutions comply with agency IT security standards and federal and state regulations.
With a strong emphasis on high‑quality code, system reliability, automation, and cross‑functional collaboration, this position is essential to maintaining the integrity, performance, and long‑term sustainability of critical HR and administrative systems across the enterprise.
