Job Summary
The Research Program Coordinator will work across the College’s research enterprise to facilitate the collection, analysis, and reporting of data for academic and external clients.
Duties- Collect, analyze, and report data to produce actionable reports using lab software such as enterprise social media analytics software (e.g., Sprinklr) or the iMotions Biometrics suite.
- Develop and present (in person and virtually) reports and trainings to university and external clients.
- Support and assist faculty, students, and clients in using lab resources for their research through one‑on‑one consultations, training sessions, guest lectures, and the development of online materials.
- Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the college, including assisting in planning research events.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; no prior work experience required, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job‑related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
- Experience analyzing social media trends and producing professional reports.
- Experience using enterprise social media analytics software such as Quid, Sprinklr, or Brandwatch.
- Knowledge of and experience conducting advanced Boolean searches.
- Understanding of social media and social media analytics.
- Graphic design background (e.g., Adobe Suite).
- Experience with data science languages such as Python or R.
- Organized, detail oriented, enterprising self‑starter with an aptitude for technology and a strong strategic understanding of social listening.
- Excellent written skills and a proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Verbal communication skills, including the ability to give presentations and speak to academic classes.
- Open, collaborative approach.
- Ability to balance technical capabilities with communications acumen and an awareness of emerging trends across relevant fields.
