Location: Columbia

Enterprise Project Manager – Project Lead (10394)

Location: Columbia, SC (Hybrid – 2 days onsite/week)

Duration: 12 Months (Extension Possible)

Interview Process: 1 Round – Phone

Candidate Requirements
  • Must be a current resident of SC or NC.
  • OR willing to relocate to SC at own expense before start date.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of IT and enterprise projects.
  • Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including business, IT, and vendors.
  • Ensure alignment of project outcomes with business objectives.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Produce weekly status reports and present updates in portfolio reviews.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain strong communication channels.
  • Oversee vendor/consultant deliverables and performance.
  • Maintain project documentation and PMO compliance standards.
  • Coach and guide junior PMs and team members on best practices.
  • Ensure effective use of project management tools (MS Project, Planner, etc.).
Required Skills & Experience
  • 6+ years of Project Management experience
  • 4+ years managing IT / technology-related projects
  • Active PMP Certification (MANDATORY)
  • Strong experience in:
    Project lifecycle management (Agile / Waterfall / Hybrid), Risk management and change management, Stakeholder communication and executive reporting, Resource planning and budget management.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience leading cloud-based or cloud migration projects.
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP – any).
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience considered).
