Cayce, SC 29033 | Fully Onsite About the Role Join the State of South Carolina as an Advanced Network Administrator supporting the Department of Public Health. Play a key role in bolstering the Network Operations Center, addressing increased workload demands, and ensuring the security and reliability of enterprise network and identity services. This is an onsite, 12-month contract with strong potential for extension, offering a dynamic environment where your expertise drives mission-critical improvements.

Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize enterprise network infrastructure, including SD-WAN and PKI systems
- Enhance secure authentication protocols and identity services
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues to ensure continuous uptime
- Support field offices through onsite visits statewide (state vehicle provided) - Install, configure, and maintain network hardware; lift and install equipment daily (up to 40 lbs.) - Collaborate with operations staff to implement network security best practices
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal standards Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience with network administration in complex enterprise environments
- Expertise in SD-WAN, PKI, secure authentication, and identity management
- Proficiency with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and security protocols
- Ability to work on ladders and lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly
- Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel within South Carolina
- Current residency in Eastern Time Zone and willingness to relocate to Cayce, SC prior to start
- Successful completion of a 7-year background check, credit history check, and E-Verify Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting public sector or healthcare networks
- Advanced certifications (e.g., CCNP, CISSP) - Familiarity with DPH systems and standards Benefits
