Overview
Need an experienced Enterprise Project Manager with strong business analysis capabilities to lead strategic and tactical IT initiatives. You will serve as the driving force behind complex, multi-stakeholder technology projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with state standards.
The RoleThis is a dual-focus role requiring both disciplined project execution and sharp business analysis skills. You will manage the full project lifecycle-from initiation through closure-while ensuring that technical solutions directly address business needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership: End-to-end management of scope, schedule, budget, risk (RAID logs), quality, and cross-functional resource coordination.
Requirements Elicitation: Lead workshops, process modeling, and data analysis to document clear, testable business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
Strategic Alignment: Define current/future-state processes and workflows; translate these requirements into solution designs in partnership with architecture, security, and data teams.
Change Management: Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover activities, and post-launch adoption efforts.
Governance: Ensure full compliance with agency policies, security requirements, and state procurement standards (RFPs/SOWs).
Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate work sessions and provide executive-level status reports and dashboards to project sponsors.
Project Management: Minimum 7 years of experience managing projects of moderate to high complexity.
Enterprise
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience managing IT, regulatory, compliance, or enterprise-level initiatives.Business Analysis: Demonstrated success in business analysis and process redesign.
Soft Skills: Ability to work independently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
Certifications: PMP, PMI-ACP, or comparable project management certifications.
Multitasking: Proven ability to simultaneously manage multiple work efforts.
Process Engineering: Expert-level skills in identifying, mapping, and re-engineering complex business processes.
Planning: Strong background in schedule management and detailed resource planning.
Successful candidates will be responsible for producing high-quality artifacts, including:
Project Charters and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
User Stories, Requirements Documents, and Process/Data Flow diagrams.
RAID and Decision Logs.
Procurement and communication plans.
