The Senior OT System Architect holds a vital mandate to strategize and execute the convergence of MAB’s IT and OT infrastructure ecosystems. This senior technical leadership position is responsible for architecting secure, reliable, and high‑performing integrated solutions that harmonize industrial operations with corporate IT. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, elevate our cybersecurity posture to mitigate emerging threats, and deliver the robust infrastructure framework required to support MAB's strategic innovation and commercial growth.

• Architecture & Strategy:
  Design, govern, and execute the comprehensive roadmap for MAB’s converged IT/OT infrastructure, ensuring all solutions align with enterprise business goals, scalability requirements, and industry best practices.
• Cybersecurity Framework:
  Establish, implement, and maintain robust cybersecurity defenses and segmentation strategies across industrial control systems (ICS) and corporate networks to proactively mitigate cyber threats and safeguard critical assets.
• Cross‑Functional Integration:
  Lead collaborative initiatives between corporate IT and plant operations teams to eliminate silos, harmonize data communication, and deliver seamless, unified network infrastructure solutions.
• System Reliability & Optimization:
  Evaluate, optimize, and lifecycle‑manage industrial network performance to guarantee maximum system uptime, high availability, and operational efficiency across all production environments.
• Innovation & Technical Leadership:
  Serve as the primary subject matter expert on emerging OT technologies, driving continuous improvement and technological innovation across the organization.
• System Availability:
  Achieve and maintain >99.9% unplanned uptime across converged networks by architecting resilient infrastructure and minimizing MTTR for critical production outages.
• Cybersecurity Compliance:
  Maintain 100% adherence to IEC 62443/NIST standards, reducing critical infrastructure vulnerabilities by 25% annually through robust network segmentation.
• Financial Stewardship:
  Deliver all architecture initiatives within 5% of budgeted Cap Ex/OpEx, optimizing TCO via vendor consolidation and a 15% reduction in redundancy.

• Owns the strategic architecture, cybersecurity enforcement, and lifecycle management of MAB’s converged IT/OT infrastructure to guarantee maximum reliability and asset protection.

• Corporate IT and plant operations alignment, vendor technology selection, and capital investment strategies to drive secure, company‑wide industrial innovation.

• Vetoes any network modifications, vendor deployments, or IT/OT integration proposals that bypass security frameworks, compromise industrial safety, or introduce unacceptable cybersecurity risks.

• Operations Leaders (Plant/Production Managers):
  Partners with site leaders to align infrastructure deployments with manufacturing schedules, ensuring high availability and zero disruption to production output.
• IT & Security Leadership (IT Directors):
  Collaborates to harmonize corporate security policies with industrial constraints, ensuring unified governance across both corporate and operational networks.

• Expertise in A&C software solutions such as those from Rockwell Automation and Inductive Automation (Ignition)
• Bachelor’s degree in or related to engineering, IT, or a combination of certifications and work experience. 6‑8 years experience in OT related fields is required.
• Experience with managing Cybersecurity – best practices, methods, enforcement.
• Demonstrated experience commissioning /maintaining & monitoring HA servers and services. These include VMware, SQL, AD services, VPN solutions.
• Vendor Management:
  Experience evaluating, selecting, and negotiating with hardware, software, and automation vendors to optimize infrastructure TCO.
