IT - SCDHHS - Business Analyst - Project Lead

The Business Analyst will evaluate agency needs, analyze business processes, and provide strategic advice for IT and non-technical solutions. You will serve as a liaison between business and IT teams, ensuring that business requirements are translated into functional specifications. This role involves requirement gathering, process documentation, and proactive problem-solving.

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or healthcare field.
• 1 year of business analysis experience with IBM Cúram software.
• 1 year of experience in government IT projects as a business analyst or related duties.
• 1 year of experience in eliciting, mining, and documenting business rules and processes.
• 2 years of experience in Medicaid Eligibility or other healthcare insurance.
• Knowledge of formal business process documentation.
• Superb written and oral communication skills in English.
• Experience in interviewing business personnel and mining laws, regulations, and policy documents.
• Understanding of business modeling techniques and graphical process flow software.

• Experience in a healthcare or government setting.
• Proficiency in negotiating agreements and managing stakeholder communications.
