Infrastructure Engineer

SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Infrastructure Engineer for a hybrid opportunity for candidates in Columbia, SC. Candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure solutions across complex network and server environments. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional technology teams to ensure infrastructure deployments are secure, reliable, and aligned with established architecture and operational standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 8+ years of hands‑on experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Experience supporting enterprise server and network environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco ACI.
• Experience using Git Hub or similar version control tools.
• Knowledge of infrastructure deployment methodologies and change management processes.
• Experience evaluating infrastructure requirements and deployment impacts.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical documentation abilities.

• Experience with enterprise‑scale infrastructure implementations.
• Background in network engineering, infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, or data center engineering.
• Experience supporting hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Ability to explain network architecture and infrastructure design concepts in detail.
• Experience coordinating infrastructure deployments across multiple technical teams.

• Analyze technical solution designs to identify infrastructure requirements and implementation needs.
• Evaluate the impact of infrastructure changes on enterprise network and server environments.
• Develop and maintain detailed deployment, build, and implementation documentation.
• Coordinate deployment activities with cross‑functional IT teams and support implementation efforts.
  
  Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and participate in root cause analysis and resolution.
  
  Ensure infrastructure solutions comply with established architecture, security, and operational standards.

Work Location: Hybrid schedule requiring onsite work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with additional onsite presence as business needs require in Columbia, SC.
