Quality Assurance Tester
Job Summary- The Quality Assurance Tester
- Advanced will be assigned to projects in collaboration with the Project Management Office (PMO). - The PMO is responsible for staffing all projects as well as establishing and monitoring IT related governance and standards, which are followed by all enterprise project teams.
- Candidates who enjoy working on complex, change-oriented projects will find this position attractive
- Responsible for performing tests on technical solutions to isolate and solve issues.
- Initiates tests, analyzes results, and finds solutions to technical problems.
- Demonstrate proficiency in test processes and SDLC tools
- Demonstrate ability to translate functional and technical requirements and technical designs into test cases
- Develop and execute functional and technical test cases under the direction of test leads and senior testers
- Create and maintain SDLC traceability from test cases to requirements and designs/software components;
Assist in generation of requirement traceability matrices - Participate in defect triage, retest, and resolution
- Create quality assurance documentation and reports as required
- Develop and execute test cases;
Clearly communicate and document test status and defects identified - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 2 years translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios
- 2 years of knowledge of manual testing techniques (functional, regression, smoke, usability, boundary testing)
- 3 years deep knowledge of healthcare operations (preferably Medicaid), business processes
- Bachelor's degree in technical, business, healthcare or related field. Years of experience can substitute for formal education.
- Technical and/or Project Management certifications from recognized sources are desirable
- 2 years' experience with large enterprise or e-business systems
- 3 years' experience using QA tools such as Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Test Rail, or similar
- 3 years prior experience working in a standard SDLC (waterfall methodology) & in an AGILE delivery
