This role supports large, high-visibility cloud IT project and support efforts, with a primary focus on migrating applications to the CMS AWS Cloud. You will define customer needs in technical and business contexts, ensure proposed solutions align to business objectives, and provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced staff.

• Define customer needs in technical and business contexts.
• Ensure the proposed technical and business solutions meet the customer's objectives for the work effort.
• Provide guidance with planning and prioritization of business analysis activities in support of large, high-visibility project and support efforts.
• Elicit and document user requirements to meet a business objective.
• Set customer expectations on feasibility.
• Identify and validate requirements and organize the information into a logical document using business analysis models that are understood by the customer and Information Systems.
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for one or more lines of business on various projects.
• Mentor less experienced business systems analysts.
• Ensure understanding of why the business solution was chosen and guide both technical and customer departments in the development of the systems.
• Facilitate the transfer of knowledge about the "big picture" direction of the business units to others who support them.
• Ensure the accurate deployment of solutions through review of problem logs, assisting with test plans and test matrices, and other analysis activities.
• Provide the business direction for system changes.
• Validate the business need for solutions to business problems and process improvements.
• Operate in Agile environments, participating in daily stand-ups.
• Use tools like Jira and Confluence to track progress, document user stories, and collaborate closely with developers, testers, and business stakeholders.
• Lead or contribute to team presentations, explaining complex technical solutions in a clear, business-friendly way.
• Design and optimize cloud-based analytics solutions.
• Provide guidance and support for large cloud IT projects.
• Contribute to data governance and compliance efforts.

• Agile Scrum Master Experience
• Agile Product Owner or Agile Business Analyst Experience
• Cloud hosted application experience
• Medicare Experience
• Jira/Confluence
• Test Rail/ALM

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other job related field.

• or 4 years of job related work experience
• or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or other job related degree.

• Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions.
• Understanding Dev Ops practices and helps in managing cloud-based analytics pipelines and deployments.
• Experience with version control, automated testing, and deployment of workflows.
