• Develop comprehensive test plans, test strategies, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
• Execute manual, functional, regression, usability, integration, and negative testing to validate application functionality and performance.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and ensure business requirements are fully validated.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, document findings, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
• Design and execute automated testing scripts with appropriate oversight.
• Perform quality assessments to identify application defects, security vulnerabilities, and performance improvement opportunities.
• Create and maintain QA documentation, defect logs, test execution reports, and testing metrics.
• Maintain defect tracking databases and monitor issue resolution throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Coordinate with product managers, business analysts, developers, and software engineers to improve product quality and performance.
• Participate in reviews, walkthroughs, inspections, and quality governance activities.
• Ensure compliance with established software testing methodologies, standards, and organizational best practices.
• Prepare and communicate test status reports, project updates, and testing results to technical and business stakeholders.
• Document and support the development of test scenarios, test cases, and execution activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Contribute to continuous process improvements by recommending enhancements to QA methodologies and testing practices. SCDHHS

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may substitute for formal education.
• 3+ years of experience translating business requirements or policy documentation into detailed test cases and testing scenarios.
• 3+ years of experience building and executing test cases within enterprise testing environments.
