Job Summary

We are seeking a tech-savvy IT Support‑Election Day (Temp) representative to provide critical technology support for polling locations in Columbia, SC on Election Day, November 3, 2026. In this role, you will travel within an assigned zone to assist polling locations with election equipment support, basic troubleshooting, and user assistance. Candidates will receive required training before Election Day and will work as part of a coordinated support team focused on keeping polling operations running smoothly.

• Travel to assigned polling locations within a designated zone to provide on‑site technology support.
• Troubleshoot basic computer, equipment, and connectivity issues related to election operations.
• Assist poll workers with equipment questions and proper use of technology tools.
• Communicate status updates, issues, and resolutions to the appropriate support contacts.
• Provide calm, professional customer service in a high‑visibility Election Day environment.
• Follow established procedures to support accuracy, reliability, and smooth operations.

• Compensation: $250 per day.
• Mileage reimbursement: $0.725 per mile.

  Election Day, November 3, 2026.

  6:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
• Location:
  
  Columbia, SC, with travel within an assigned zone.
• Mandatory training required. Candidates must attend one of the following sessions:
• October 17, 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
• October 22, 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
• For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, Apple One is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.

• Provide on‑site Election Day technology support at assigned polling locations.
• Troubleshoot election equipment, computer, and basic technical issues.
• Travel within an assigned zone to respond to support needs.
• Communicate professionally with poll workers and support teams.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Comfortable working with computers, technology, and basic troubleshooting.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to pass background and driving record checks.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work the full Election Day schedule.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy, time‑sensitive environment.

• Prior experience providing technical support, help desk support, field support, or equipment troubleshooting.
• Experience working in customer‑facing environments.
• Familiarity with election operations, polling locations, or public sector support environments.
