IT Support, Systems Administrator
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable IT Technician to support a broad range of technology across the organization. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, learning new systems, and supporting both traditional IT operations and specialized business technologies. The successful candidate will provide hands‑on user support, help maintain systems and networks, assist with Microsoft 365 and automation initiatives, and support technologies used in retail and seasonal operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Provide help desk support for hardware, software, account, connectivity, and general technology issues.
- Provide technical support by phone, remote access, or onsite visits as needed.
- Set up computers, mobile devices, accounts, applications, and related equipment for new users.
- Maintain and update workstations, operating systems, business applications, and security tools.
- Monitor networking equipment, servers, system availability, and security alerts.
- Troubleshoot system errors, connectivity issues, printers, peripherals, and user access problems.
- Assist with the design, implementation, documentation, and ongoing support of new software, features, and technology improvements.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, and related tools.
- Assist with Power Automate workflows and other opportunities to improve or automate business processes.
- Use or develop basic Python scripts for automation, data handling, integrations, or troubleshooting when appropriate.
- Support Square point‑of‑sale systems, including devices, connectivity, user issues, and general operational troubleshooting.
- Assist with seasonal lighting technologies and show‑control systems, including Light-O-Rama (LOR) and xLights.
- Assist with servers, LAN/WAN technologies, Wi‑Fi, computer repair, endpoint protection, and related infrastructure.
- Maintain clear documentation of systems, configurations, recurring issues, and completed work.
- Work with team members, users, and vendors to resolve issues and complete technology projects.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. - CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or other relevant professional certification preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, and related applications.
- Familiarity with Power Automate or a strong interest in workflow automation and process improvement.
- Basic scripting or programming experience, preferably with Python, or a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems, networking fundamentals, computer hardware, and common business software.
- Experience with Square POS, Light-O-Rama, xLights, or similar specialty systems is a plus but not required.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve multiple technical issues while effectively prioritizing work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly to users.
- Self‑motivated, organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Team‑oriented with a positive attitude, sound judgment, and a willingness to learn and assist where needed.
- Ability to stand, bend, squat, and safely lift or move computer and networking equipment as required.
