A real estate attorney leading their own office within a larger firm is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the office's legal practice related to real estate transactions. Key Responsibilities & Objectives Business Development- Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and expand the client base.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the real estate industry.
- Provide excellent client service, understanding and addressing client objectives.
- Manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Oversee the financial aspects of the legal practice, including budgeting, billing, and financial planning.
- Maximize profitability and ensure financial sustainability.
- Lead and manage a small staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure the team is aligned with business goals.
- Apply in-depth legal knowledge to handle complex real estate transactions.

- In-depth understanding of the legal aspects of real estate transactions, including contracts, financing, and closings.
- Expertise in title examination, title insurance, and resolving title issues.
- Efficiently manage time to handle various tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Prioritize activities to achieve business objectives.
- Collaboration and Team Building: Foster collaboration within the small staff, encouraging teamwork and positive communication.
- Build a cohesive and effective team.
- Maintain a strong client-centric approach, ensuring that all services provided align with client needs and expectations.
- Solicit and respond to client feedback to continually improve service delivery.

- Participate in maintaining a tidy and organized office environment.
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed to support team operations.
- Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to meet organizational needs.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- At least three years practicing real estate law.
- Strategic thinking to develop and implement business strategies that drive growth and profitability.
- Efficient time management skills to handle various tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changing legal landscapes, market dynamics, and client needs.
