We are working with a specialized Family and Criminal Law firm seeking a seasoned Paralegal for a high-impact, part-time role. This position is designed for an expert who thrives on the technical side of litigation—discovery synthesis and drafting—but values a flexible schedule. We are looking for a professional who is truly engaged, values the opportunity to contribute to a small team, and is ready to "hit the ground running" during their hours on the clock.

What

You Will be Doing:
  • Substantive Discovery: Conduct deep-dive reviews of heavy discovery downloads. You will be responsible for organizing, indexing, and synthesizing into actionable summaries for the attorney.
  • Drafting: Prepare preliminary drafts of motions, pleadings, and court orders for attorney review.
  • Administrative Precision: Manage the lifecycle of filings, including preparing transmittal letters and ensuring e-filing compliance.
  • Case Advocacy: Act as a critical set of eyes on case files to identify missing information or strategic opportunities.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, ready to hit the ground running in Family law and/or Criminal law practices
  • A rock-solid understanding of legal concepts, terminology, and the litigation lifecycle.
  • Mad skills with legal research platforms and case management software.
  • A strong work ethic and a genuine desire to work. We value someone who is appreciative of a professional, flexible environment and is motivated to contribute.
