Cromer Babb & Porter, LLC is a Columbia-based law firm focusing on employment law. Our firm represents individuals in disputes arising from their current or past employment, with various claims such as discrimination and retaliation under Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, and similar statutes. The firm also handles defamation claims, business litigation, state claims, grievances, and other employment-related claims.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Litigation Paralegal at Cromer Babb & Porter, LLC. The paralegal will be responsible for preparing and drafting complex legal documents, communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials, e-filing documents in state, federal, and appellate courts, organizing and compiling discovery documents, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and PDF tools is essential
  • Experience using case management software
  • Prior work experience as a paralegal required
  • Proven to be reliable, professional, and a team player
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Professional demeanor with a client-focused approach

Hourly wage: $20–$28; will commensurate with experience or qualifications
