Job Responsibilities
Responsible for performing program support duties that include, but are not limited to supply and inventory control, time management and proper disposal of obsolete and unserviceable property. Works with the supply and equipment office manager to ensure all paperwork and training are managed and conducted properly and on time. Performs job duties associated with the inventory control functions for the supply depot.
Responsible for coordinating and monitoring the preparation of supply depot specifications enduring the documents are accurate. Responsible for coordinating and developing and completing contract procurement process to include updating supply depot specifications and procurement office coordination. Maintains accurate inventory records of uniforms, supplies, and related equipment. Distributes uniforms to employees. Tracks issued uniforms and maintains employee uniform records. Conducts regular inventory counts to ensure stock accuracy.
Reviews and processes SC enterprise information system (SCEIS) customer material reservation requests for orders and creates goods issue documents for the supply depot. Assess inventory stock levels and customer demand, creates purchase requisitions to replenish inventory and processes acknowledgements to receive inventory products. Provide technical support to SCDOT offices creating and processing SCEIS material reservations, reporting problems with material reservation submittals, and providing corrective measures.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
A high school diploma and six (6) months of relevant program experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence. A valid motor vehicle operator's license is required. The physical demands for the essential functions of this position include sitting or standing at a desk for extended periods and working on a computer. May be required to lift up to 30 lbs. May be required to work outside of normal work schedule, especially during inclement weather and/or other departmental-related emergencies.
Work environment is comprised of climate-controlled offices, non-climate-controlled warehouse areas, and outside during various weather conditions.
