Senior Manager, Warehouse Operations – Georgetown, Texas

About the Role:

The Senior Manager, Warehouse Operations will establish and scale all areas of warehouse operations including inbound direct and indirect materials, inventory management processes, and supply chain coordination operations for a large manufacturing operation in Georgetown, Texas.

Responsibilities
  • Build and shape the organization with close adherence to company principles of People‑First, Ownership Mentality, Quality, and Partnership.
  • Scale the organization and manage day‑to‑day operations in all warehouse operation areas.
  • Attract, retain, and grow the organization.
  • Lead full‑loop inventory accuracy processes by monitoring key indicators in all material flow activities such as cycle counts, stock rotation, and return to vendor.
  • Lead training and continuous improvement of all material management and warehouse operations; provide work direction to direct reports and the extended team.
  • Establish, scale, and maintain high standards of customer service across all organization functions.
  • Prioritize workload and exhibit excellent multi‑project management skills.
  • Communicate technical information across all levels of the organization.
  • Work effectively in a fast‑paced, flexible environment and take initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly.
  • Oversee inventory control functions that deliver consistent end‑to‑end inventory control processes, methods, and meaningful metrics across all operations, including warehouse, production, finished goods, and indirect material.
  • Directly influence inventory processing behaviors by delivering continuous indicators and goals.
  • Consolidate and manage indirect material purchasing and min‑max inventory replenishment, translating into seamless delivery of MRO services to all operations functions; establish supplier relationships, min‑max processes, spare parts, and consumables.
  • Manage site shipping and logistics functions, supported by the centralized global logistics team, executing shipping of finished goods, returns to vendors, and inter‑company materials.
  • Lead factory scheduling functions that convert customer orders into job orders for every operation, ensuring synchronized just‑in‑time delivery of materials across the operation; include material planning, deployment, and control processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, supply chain, related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in a high‑tech manufacturing environment.
  • 8+ years of experience leading and mentoring teams.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous process improvement experience.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Ability to use time, energy, and resources effectively to achieve set goals.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills: ability to visualize, articulate, and solve problems.
  • Collaborative, flexible, and adaptable mindset.
  • Strong commitment to discipline and tactical time management.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP software packages is required.
  • Knowledge of production, engineering, NPI, finance operations, logistics, quality, and RMA is a plus.
  • Bilingual proficiency preferred.
