Production Improvement Specialist
—Sandy Run – Build & Distribution (SCDC)

What You’ll Do
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, and 6S methodologies
  • Analyze processes, identify waste, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and quality
  • Facilitate value stream mapping and cross‑functional improvement projects
  • Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and operational metrics
  • Partner with Distribution Center leaders to standardize processes and implement best practices
  • Support Warehouse Management System (WMS) adoption and process compliance
  • Develop SOPs, training materials, and process documentation
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts
  • Support change management initiatives tied to process and system improvements
  • Travel to various locations to support implementation and sustainment
Requirements
  • 1‑5+ years of experience in continuous improvement and/or operations in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Experience with Lean, Kaizen, 6S, or similar process improvement methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience leading projects and driving change across teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
  • Experience with WMS or ERP systems
  • Background in building materials, manufacturing, or distribution
