A growing manufacturing company is seeking a Purchasing Specialist / Buyer to join its team. This role will manage material sourcing, purchasing, vendor relationships, pricing negotiations, inventory levels, and on‑time delivery. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, cost‑conscious, and enjoys finding the best value while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

• Source materials and evaluate vendors, pricing, quality, and lead times
• Request and compare quotes and negotiate pricing and terms
• Create and manage purchase orders
• Monitor inventory and ensure timely delivery of materials
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and address purchasing issues
• Analyze costs and identify cost‑saving opportunities
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
• Collaborate with internal departments to meet material needs
• Identify process improvements and support purchasing‑related projects

• 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supplier management experience preferred
• Experience with RFQs, purchase orders, vendor management, and cost analysis
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with ERP systems and ability to learn new technology quickly
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self‑motivated, proactive, dependable, and team‑oriented
• High School Diploma required; some college preferred
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background and drug screening
