Machine Cleaner 1st Shift

We are seeking a Machine Cleaner to join our client’s manufacturing operation in Pendleton,SC.

The Machine Cleaner Support role is an entry level position responsible for safely performing general cleaning and preventative maintenance activities on production equipment and mechanical systems.

• Perform general cleaning and preventative maintenance on production equipment and mechanical systems.
• Follow all plant safety procedures and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Learn and properly perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures before working on machinery.
• Use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and other maintenance equipment safely.
• Perform and document routine preventative maintenance (PM) tasks.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment logs, and other required documentation.
• Assist with maintaining, organizing, and ordering spare parts as needed.
• Follow verbal and written instructions and technical direction.
• Report equipment concerns, safety issues, or maintenance needs to the appropriate supervisor.
• Work as part of a team to support safe and efficient plant operations.

• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to learn and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Basic computer skills, including opening files, navigating software, and entering information.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Previous manufacturing, maintenance, mechanical, or industrial experience is a plus, but training will be provided.

Shift: 1st Shift / 12 hour Rotating

Pay: $16.34/hr
