Project Manager Description :
OpSource Pro is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Mechanical Project Manager for a company in Columbia specializing in mechanical, electrical, maintenance, and fabrication services.
Pay for the position:
- $85,000/yr plus DOE
- Piping / Process Piping
- Millwright / Rigging (Equipment Setting)
- Structural Steel Installation
- Nested Maintenance - Cap Experience
- HVAC
- Technical Degree or similar experience
- 7-10 years successful Mechanical PM experience
- Previous experience or familiar with estimating
- Strong computer skills (AutoCAD a plus)
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Outstanding interpersonal skills

- Ensure that all work adheres to internal safety policies and OSHA compliance
- Lead projects in a manner that exceeds customer expectations
- Develop and maintain network of professional relationships within our industry
- Oversee project estimates
- Plan, schedule, and maintain timelines by optimizing resources in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage all financial aspects of projects through ongoing job forecasting
- Participate in turnover meetings to ensure successful handoff from estimating to field.
- Communicate with internal and external subcontractors
- Set clear goals for the Superintendents
- Negotiate and resolve all customer concerns
- Address change orders in a timely manner
- Manage all job closeout procedures
- Conduct post project reviews to identify opportunities and correct them
- Provide coaching as needed to Superintendents.
- Work with internal departments such as AP, Purchasing, Equipment, HR, and Finance as needed.
