Rite Rug has been one of the top privately owned flooring companies for over 90 years! We are looking for a organized and detail oriented Office Manager to join our team!
Position Summary- Supervises the activities of the office personnel.
- Evaluating and managing staff performance, recruiting and selecting office staff.
- Coordinating office staff activities and allocating resources to ensure maximal efficiency and to enable task execution.
- Providing training, organizing on-going training for office staff.
- Designing and implementing office procedures and policies.
- Executing policy and procedural changes to develop and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintaining a safe working environment, coaching, disciplining staff and managing internal staff relations.
- Responds to complaints or questions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Process labor pay and invoicing for location.
- Monitoring budget and invoicing for location.
- Process reports each month to ensure orders are being invoiced, mill claims are being processed, and budget is made.
- Entry of new selections and ordering material for new installations.
- Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Process billing and ensure billing accuracy. Maintain files.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Have earned a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Have at least one to three years of experience in an office environment. Experience in the Flooring Industry is preferred.
- Display thorough knowledge of office, practices and procedures.
- Possess and have demonstrated proficient computer experience in Microsoft Office.
- Be able to multi-task and prioritize the duties required.
- Exhibit effective oral and written communication skills.
- Exhibit proven ability to effectively lead and manage employees.
- Be able to work independently and problem solve.
