We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a growing commercial brokerage team.
This person will work directly with the Director of Commercial Real Estate to keep the team organized, manage priorities and workflow, oversee active transactions and projects, improve accountability, and ensure important responsibilities are completed.
We are looking for someone who can learn how the business currently operates, identify inefficiencies, and implement better processes. This is not primarily an administrative assistant, transaction coordinator, or SOP-writing position. The primary responsibility is running the operations of the brokerage team and continuously improving how the business functions.
The right candidate should be able to recognize what needs to be done, determine the next steps, and move projects forward without requiring detailed instructions for every assignment.
Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of the commercial real estate team.
- Maintain visibility across active clients, listings, transactions, projects, deadlines, and follow-up.
- Translate leadership priorities into clear assignments, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
- Coordinate workflow across brokers, support staff, vendors, clients, attorneys, lenders, and other transaction participants.
- Monitor transaction milestones, due diligence, listing launches, documentation, and closing timelines.
- Lead recurring operations meetings and ensure action items are completed.
- Identify operational issues, bottlenecks, and missed responsibilities before they affect execution.
- Improve existing workflows and develop SOPs, checklists, templates, and systems where they add value.
- Manage and improve the team’s use of , Slack, CRM, transaction-management, and project-management tools
. - Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to track team performance and accountability.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and coordination of future team members.
- Keep leadership organized and focused on highest-priority activities and decisions.
The Operations Manager will not be expected to personally perform every administrative or transaction task. The responsibility is to make sure the work is properly assigned, tracked, and completed.

- Communicates professionally with leadership, brokers, clients, and outside professionals.
- Can work independently and knows when an issue needs to be escalated.
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate operations, brokerage operations, transaction management, or a comparable CRE role.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and project-management skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, and active work streams.
- Experience with CRM, project-management, or transaction-management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
