RESPONSIBILITIES
* Maintain a positive, solutions-focused, and productive attitude in support of plant goals for reliability, safety, integrity, quality, and overall performance.
* Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to assemble mechanical components using hand tools, torque wrenches preferred experience , and other equipment.
* Utilize forklifts, overhead cranes, and material handling equipment to transport components within the facility.
* Perform mechanical troubleshooting to identify and address issues during assembly and ensure proper documentation of corrective actions.
* Collaborate with team members to solve production challenges and meet daily targets.
* Assist with basic maintenance tasks and support engineering or electrical teams when needed.
* Maintain accurate production records, including parts assembled and quantities completed.
* Complete other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Prior experience using hand tools and operating forklifts
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems and safe work practices
Preferred Qualifications:
* Associate's Degree or Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field
* Demonstrated experience or prior certification in operating overhead cranes
* Familiarity with mechanical fitting in a manufacturing or industrial environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
* Ability to routinely lift 50+ lbs and transport objects as needed
* Ability to climb ladders
* Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, squatting, and climbing
* Manual dexterity to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment
ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
* Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments where temperatures may exceed 100°F or fall below 32°F, including exposure to environmental elements
