Sandvik Coromant in Westminster, SC is looking for a
SUMMARY:The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for managing and preparing tools and products for SRT production/reconditioning and PVD processes, as well as overseeing packing and shipping activities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:- Prepare all required materials for launch orders, including tooling, engineering data, and all necessary documentation.
- Ensure orders are initiated according to plan to achieve the lowest possible TMT.
- Schedule and book orders on the appropriate machines to support the production plan.
- Create and update reports, charts, and other documentation; place orders for tooling and related materials as needed.
- Perform all work in accordance with established procedures and provide process improvement feedback to plant management.
- Support production, quality, and delivery assurance objectives.
- Record all work performed in alignment with established accounting procedures.
- Conduct unboxing, inspecting, and checking reconditioning products.
- Perform laser marking and prepare orders for production.
- Operate wet blast and cleaning processes (Graf and Durr).
- Build and break down components for PVD processing.
- Pack products according to specifications.
- Perform final inspections.
- Prepare items for shipment and execute shipping tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly shop environment.
- Ensure compliance with the ISO standards, including ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety).
- Adhere to all company rules and safety policies.
- High School Diploma
- This position is for 1st shift
- W1 ($16.00 - $24.57)
