Production Operator

Production Operator — Pay rate: $20.00/hour - $22.00/hour

6:30am- 3:00pm

Location:

TRAVELERS REST, SC
• Duration: 3 months

• Reads and interprets work orders, work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
• Sets up and operates specified machines, making machine adjustments where necessary to produce required results.
• Inspects test coupons and parts, using a variety of precision measuring instruments.
• Ensures tools and machines are maintained in clean and proper condition
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
• Performs tasks as requested by manager/supervisor.
• Follows all company policies and all safety procedures, including wearing of required personal protective equipment.

• High School diploma or its equivalency is required.
• Technical school training, apprenticeship programs, or similar equivalents are a plus.
• Must possess skills and knowledge in the set-up, adjustment and operation of machine shop equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, comparator charts, drawings and specifications, as well as skill and knowledge necessary to understand basic GD&T and utilize shop math and measuring instruments is required.
• Knowledge of and adherence to the Quality Policy and Standard Operating Procedures will be a part of the daily routine.
• Must be motivated, focused, and clear thinking.
• Ability to work safely and utilize good housekeeping is mandatory.
