Maintenance Technician; 2nd shift

Out client in Williamston, SC is seeking skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians on 2nd shift to support metal stamping and manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing press equipment and plant machinery to ensure safe and efficient production. This is a hands‑on mechanical role in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Shift
: M‑Th 4:30pm‑3am

• Responsible for all preventative maintenance of press equipment and plant facilities.
• Diagnose problems, repair machinery, and adjust.
• Grease shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Read and interpret machine manuals to perform required maintenance.

• At least 3+ years maintaining machinery in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Experience with press equipment, stamping, or heavy production machinery is a strong plus
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues (bearings, shafts, gears, drives, etc.)
• Comfortable performing preventive maintenance (PMs) and corrective repairs
• Able to use a multimeter and understand basic electrical concepts (including 3-phase)
• Familiarity with MIG welding, cutting torches, and light fabrication

• 3 years of maintenance or related experience.
• Excellent, demonstrated mechanical skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Basic knowledge of mig welders, cutting torches and fabrication preferred.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision.
• Good math skills; ability to calculate and comprehend necessary math concepts.
• Must focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
• Ability to complete required paperwork through basic reading and writing skills.
• Ability to move up to 35 pounds
• Ability to obtain an industrial powered lift truck license.
• Ability to obtain an overhead crane license.
• Ability to be trained to operate a scissor lift truck.
• General knowledge of various metal stamping equipment.
• Preferred knowledge and use of a multimeter to check 3 phase voltage on equipment
