Lead Electrician – Manufacturing

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and electrical systems, is seeking a Lead Electrician – Manufacturing to join their team. As a Lead Electrician – Manufacturing, you will be part of the electrical assembly and wiring department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lead Electrician – Manufacturing

Location: North Charleston, SC

Pay Range: $83200 - $87360

Shift: 6am-2:30pm w OT as needed

What's the Job?

• Lead a team of electricians in hands-on electrical assembly, wiring, and installation of manufactured products
• Actively perform electrical work alongside the team as needed
• Assign daily work, monitor progress, and adjust priorities to meet production schedules
• Read, interpret, and execute work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of material
• Ensure assemblies meet engineering specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements

What's Needed?

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent electrical certification
• 5+ years of experience in electrical assembly or industrial/manufacturing electrical work
• Previous experience as a lead, senior electrician, or supervisor preferred
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Working knowledge of NEC, electrical safety standards, and industrial best practices
