Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Industrial Shop Cleaner in Wellford, SC. Our client is a Tool Manufacturing Company. The Industrial Shop Cleaner is responsible for:

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Ensure the shop is organized and common spaces are free of debris
• Reliable, safety-minded, and comfortable working around industrial equipment

• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors in production areas and breakrooms
• Collect and dispose of trash
• Keep aisles clear and maintain orderly storage areas
• Clean up non-hazardous spills promptly, assist with proper reporting of larger spills
• Move pallets and materials as needed (forklift certification preferred; training available)
• Follow all facility safety rules, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards

• Clean and restock shop restrooms and breakroom
• Always work in a safe manner and ensure co-workers and outside vendors do the same
• Operate forklift in a safe manner as learned in forklift training course
• Use all safety equipment as needed to complete the job
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area, including floor space, shelving and work stations
• Before leaving each day, ensure all tools are unplugged and properly stored
• Maintain all tools and equipment in clean, working condition
• Report any defective tools or equipment to the Operations Manager for repair or replacement

Conducting (drug screening and/or background check) report inquiries may be necessary for employment purposes.
