Job SummaryThe Production Quality Specialist will work closely with the Production Manager to enter daily production information and verify that products are of good quality prior to shipment. They will also ensure inventory accuracy after each production run and work with the Logistics Manager to monitor raw material movements in and out of the facility.
Required Qualifications / Experience- Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing environment
- High School Diploma or higher
- Experience with inventory counting
- Microsoft Office experience required (Word/Outlook/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Experience with SAP a plus
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills with close attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Create process orders
- Perform quality inspections of finished product and report issues to production manager/supervisors
- Enter daily production data in SAP
- Work with production on end‑of‑run counts
- Perform inventory corrections in SAP
- Perform physical inventory and cycle counts, including reconciling inventory (raw materials and packaging supplies)
- Perform regular checks on finished product for count accuracy
- Act as a back‑up to the Logistics Supervisor
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager
- Support other operations of the plant such as lab, logistics, safety, etc. as needed
